Stefano Tacconi underwent a new operation today, at the Alessandria hospital, scheduled by the doctors. “It was not an operation due to a complication of his state of health but an already foreseen conclusion of his treatment path”, explains Andrea Barbanera, director of the Neurosurgery Department. The intervention consisted – explains the doctor – “in releasing the patient from the external ventricular cerebral drainage previously positioned for the haemorrhage, thus allowing him to start the rehabilitation process”. The former Juventus goalkeeper, in hospital since April 23, for a cerebral hemorrhage from ruptured aneurysm, “now – concludes Blackbeard – he will have to face a few days of post-operative course and then, if there are no complications, he can ‘start rehabilitation ”.
