Strange is the story that comes from Asiago, in the province of Vicenza, where the owner of a clothing store has returned to post the message on the shop window “Wanted 18-year-old ordersfree from family commitments “ despite the sanction imposed on him previously.
In fact, last May Mario Dal Sasso, the owner of the shop, had received a fine of 7 thousand euros from the Labor Inspectorate for the announcement deemed shock. Despite this, however, he decided not to give up and told the Giornale di Vicenza: “I am a freelancer who does not depend on any union. and that he has the right to do what he wants in your company. The cartel does not offend anyone, it is in no way derogatory but clear in the figure we are trying to include in our business. We do not understand this persistence towards us by some trade unions, towards which we have no obligation to expose our company policies “.
The reason for the fine
The legislative reason why the owner had been fined by the Labor Inspectorate was the one corresponding to the violation ofarticle 27 of the Code of Equal Opportunitieswhich provides a ban for “Any discrimination regarding access to work, in subordinate, autonomous or any other form, including selection criteria and hiring conditions”.
