Moments of panic during the broadcast “It’s not the Arena” during last night’s episode (Sunday 5th June), where the conductor Massimo Gilettiin direct from Moscowhad an illness that caused concern and embarrassment in the study.
Illness live for Giletti live, what happened first?
During the episode, already fraught with tensions, Massimo Giletti felt ill while he was connected from the Moscow Red Squarewhere he was interviewing Maria Zakharovaspokesman for the Foreign Minister Lavrovwho had reproached the journalist himself for his too simplistic positions.
During the episode Giletti also had a heated confrontation with Alessandro Sallusti (which has even abandoned the transmission), which has contributed to further increase the load of stress and tension.
After these episodes Giletti accused an illness and failed to carry on the direct.
The providential intervention of Myrta Merlino: “Help Massimo”
In the study, the gravity of the situation was immediately understood, since Giletti had collapsed to the ground, even if the cameras rightly preferred not to linger on the journalist’s illness.
The situation was immediately taken over by Myrta Merlinojournalist and presenter of “L’aria che tira” who, alarmed and worried, invited the people present in Moscow to intervene: “What happens? Maximum! Help Massimo! ”.
Immediately afterwards, the commercials started and, upon returning to the studio, Myrta Merlina was at the helm of the management who was replacing her colleague.
Fortunately shortly after Giletti reappeared on video, indoors and seated, with his face tried but still in fair condition which he explained: “It is very cold outside, perhaps lack of sugar and I had a faint. I’m fine, unfortunately it happens ”.
The transmission continued naturally, with decidedly calmer tones between Giletti and the other guests.
