A bee sting proved fatal for Marco Deianaa 32-year-old Sardinian farmer from Gairo Sant’Elena, in the Nuorese area, who died yesterday morning while he was tending his cattle.
Sudden illness
The sudden illness following the sting and death occurred in a few minutes in Tertenia and the 118 health workers did not have time to help him. The bee sting for Marco took place around noon and as soon as he felt ill, he called his girlfriend saying: “Help, I’m dying”. Immediately after blackout and fatal fainting on the ground.
